Spellman holds annual Faith Rally!

Cardinal Spellman High School celebrated Catholic Schools Week by holding their annual Faith Rally on Thursday, January 30th! The Life Teen SMASH band opened up Mass, celebrated by Father Chris Hickey of Holy Mother's Collaborative, who spoke to students about finding themselves with God and rejecting materialism.

Following Mass, John Paul Von Arx delivered the keynote speech and performed some of his music. He spoke to students about spiritual happiness prevailing over consumerism.

After playing some team-building games and activities, students were assembled into breakout groups, where they enjoyed talks from Father Chris, John Paul, Life Teen minister Tim Habeeb and Maggie Craig of Maggie Craig Ministries.

Faith Rally organizer and Campus Ministry Director Jason Deramo remarked on the benefits of the event, "This rally is a time for our school to come together, hearing a unified message from nationally renowned speakers that they normally wouldn't hear from."
