History

Via the examination of trailblazing achievements, regretful follies, and infamous setbacks, the History Department teaches students to look for patterns, make comparisons, and collaborate with a multitude of perspectives. We challenge them to ask difficult questions and develop defensible claims in an effort to instill in our scholars the confidence necessary to accept the responsibility of securing the blessing of liberty in a more perfect society of which they will help to create.
