Through the examination of history's trailblazing achievements, consequential setbacks, and pivotal turning points, the History Department invites students to enrich their understanding of the world, think outside of the box, and learn something new every day! We encourage our students to ask meaningful questions, engage in complex conversations, develop thoughtful claims, and collaborate creatively with peers as we guide them through the story of modern humanity. By instilling intellectual confidence, personal responsibility, and a love of learning, we prepare students to benevolently engage with and make a positive difference in the world beyond the classroom.
