Ways to Give

Annual Fund

Annual gifts provide much-needed funds for Spellman that can be put to use immediately in support of students, faculty, and innovative programs. These gifts provide a means for current parents, alumni, past parents, grandparents, family members and friends to show how the people most closely associated with Spellman truly feel about their school. It demonstrates pride and acts as a catalyst for everyone in the community to give as well. Your participation and thoughtfulness help to enhance the resources for Spellman's top priorities, including financial aid and strengthening life on campus.

Gifts of Stock or Insurance Policies

Cardinal Spellman High School welcomes gifts of appreciated stock and insurance policies. These gifts of property or other appreciable investments or the creation of a charitable trust, will be greatly accepted and appreciated. Tax benefits can substantially reduce the actual cost of your gift.

Donor-Advised Fund

Leverage the power of your donor-advised fund's growth to make or increase a gift to support our school's greatest needs.

A Gift from your IRA

Save taxes and make an impact by giving a gift from your IRA!

Matching Gifts

Increase your gift by asking your employer or former employer to match your gift! If your company participates in a matching gift program, request a matching gift form and send it to Spellman, completed and signed with your gift. Matched gifts may double or triple your original gift amount, and some companies also offer programs that match gifts made by retirees.

Naming Opportunities

Several naming opportunities or commemoratives are available throughout the campus. They can be used to designate the gifts of a family, business, or organization or to honor a loved one. A designated gift permanently identifies your name or the name of the company with the good work of the school.

Planned Giving

A planned gift is a contribution arranged in the present and allocated at a future date. Commonly donated through a will or trust, planned gifts are most often granted once the donor has passed away.

Planned gifts will allow Cardinal Spellman High School to serve the needs of students well into the future. Consider making a bequest of a percentage or dollar amount of your estate in your will. This is a wonderful way to show your support and appreciation.
